You’ve outgrown something.
Can I ask you something?
When you look at your life right now — your business, your days, the way you’re moving through the world — does it feel like you?
Not the version of you from five years ago. Not the version you built your business around. Not the version that learned to work hard, prove, perform, and push through.
You. Now. The woman you’ve been quietly becoming.
Because here’s what I’ve been noticing — in my own life, and in the lives of the women I work with:
Something shifted. For a lot of us, somewhere around COVID and the years that followed.
What used to work… stopped working. What used to feel exciting… started feeling hollow. What used to feel like my life… started feeling like a life I’d outgrown — but hadn’t quite found my way out of yet.
And it wasn’t burnout. Not exactly.
It was something quieter and more disorienting than that.
Maybe it’s the feeling of standing in the middle of a life you built — one that looks good from the outside, one you genuinely worked for — and realising…
This doesn’t fully fit anymore.
Or maybe it’s different for you.
Maybe you haven’t fully arrived at the life you’ve been reaching for — the vision has been there, the desire has been real — but something keeps shifting it just out of reach. And now you’re starting to wonder if it’s not just how you get there that needs to change, but where you’re trying to get.
Either way — the feeling underneath is the same.
Something no longer fits. And you know it.
You’re not behind. You’re not failing.
You’re in-between.
Between the version of yourself you’ve been — and the woman you’re becoming.
Between the life that made sense then — and the one that’s asking to be built now.
And in that in-between space, the questions start arriving:
Who am I — underneath all of it? Why am I really here? What else is possible — that I haven’t even let myself imagine yet? What haven’t I discovered about myself?
These aren’t signs that something is wrong with you.
They’re the most important questions you can ask.
Because they’re pointing you toward something real.
Here’s what I’ve come to understand — after 25 years of coaching, and four years of going much, much deeper into this work:
Most women in this place don’t have a strategy problem.
They don’t need another plan, another offer, another content calendar, another morning routine.
What they need is to close the gap.
The gap between who they are now… and the life they’re actually living.
Because that gap is exhausting to maintain. It takes enormous energy to keep showing up as a version of yourself you’ve quietly outgrown. To keep building toward a vision that was true then — but doesn’t quite fit the woman you’re becoming, and want to become.
And here’s the part that most personal development completely misses:
It’s not enough to know what you want.
You have to be someone who can actually hold it.
Not just create the life — but live inside it. Sustain it. Move through it with ease rather than effort.
That’s the real work.
And it lives at the intersection of three things:
Who you believe yourself to be — your identity. What feels safe for you to hold — your nervous system. How your life is actually designed — your structure.
When those three things are aligned — when they’re working together as one operating system — something shifts.
Expansion stops feeling like a constant uphill climb.
It starts to feel like you. Like the most natural expression of who you already are.
In my next email, I want to walk you through what that actually looks like — and introduce you properly to the work I’ve been building.
For now, I’ll leave you with this:
The life you want isn’t further away than you think.
You just need a different foundation to build it from. ♡
With all my love,
Carmen xo
P.S. This is part of a 4-part series introducing Soul Architecture™ — the work I’ve spent the last four years building.
It was first shared with my email community, where I share my most personal writing, new work, and the behind-the-scenes of what I’m creating.
