Something I’ve been wanting to tell you
I want to tell you something I’ve been sitting with for a while…
Not a program announcement. Not a strategy tip.
Just something real — about where this work started, what it’s been quietly becoming, and why I think you’ll feel it in everything I share from here.
I’ve been coaching for 25 years.
I’ve built businesses. Led teams. Helped hundreds of women (+ men) create real results in their lives and work.
And for most of those years, I believed — genuinely believed — that the right strategy, the right mindset work, the right why, the right level of commitment was what created transformation.
I was good at what I did. My clients got results.
But something kept nagging at me.
Because I’d watch brilliant, capable, deeply committed women do everything right — and still find themselves contracting back. Still hitting the same invisible walls. Still oscillating between expansion and retreat, between knowing and doing, between the life they could see and the life they were actually living.
And I couldn’t fully explain why. Or how to help them break through it at the root.
About four years ago — when my marriage was beginning to break down and nothing in my business was working the way it used to — I felt the first nudge that something deeper was needed.
Not a crisis yet. Just a knowing.
So I went looking.
Not for another strategy. Not for another mindset framework. Not another funnel or content plan or go back to your why book.
For something that could explain what was actually happening beneath the surface — and how to work with it, rather than push against it.
I began studying somatic psychology. Nervous system regulation. The psychology of identity — and how it shapes every decision we make, every action we take, every version of ourselves we’re able to hold.
I immersed myself — courses, certifications, books, working with those most skilled in this area. Going deeper than I had ever gone before.
And then — almost as if life wanted to test everything I was learning — the real waves arrived.
My marriage ended. My beloved niece — who I was incredibly close to — died suddenly and unexpectedly at 24. I followed my heart to Bali, a place that had been home to my soul for years — only to watch the villa I’d poured myself into flood, not once but twice, until I had to let it go. I moved back to Australia.
Wave after wave. All at once.
There were moments I wanted to burn it all down.
Not just emotionally — but at an identity level. At a nervous system level. At the level of: who am I now, without the things I built myself around?
And somewhere in that unravelling — I hit a wall I couldn’t strategy my way out of.
What I hadn’t expected — was that I’d have the tools.
Not perfectly. But differently than I ever had before. With a capacity to stay with what was present — to meet it, feel it, work with it — rather than push past it — that I’d never had before.
For the first time, I wasn’t managing my life from the outside.
I was meeting it from the inside.
What I found there surprised me.
Blocks I didn’t even know were there. Patterns rooted in experiences I’d long since moved past — or so I thought — that had been quietly running my life for decades. Shaping how visible I allowed myself to be. How much I allowed myself to hold. How safe I allowed myself to feel.
Things I’d never connected to my business, my patterns, my recurring cycle of expansion and plateau.
And as I worked through them — with compassion rather than force, presence rather than pressure — something began to shift.
Not overnight.
Layer by layer. Season by season.
I share this not because I want you to know my story.
But because if you’ve been in my world for any time at all — you’ve probably noticed that the language around Soul Craft has been evolving.
The way I talk about identity. Nervous system. Safety. Capacity. Structure.
The shift from mindset and strategy to something that goes underneath both.
And how to become who you’re meant to be — while building from the truth of who you already are.
That evolution didn’t happen by accident. It happened because of four years of immersion, real-world testing, and the slow, honest process of building something I truly believe in.
It’s called Soul Architecture™.
And over the next few weeks — through emails, social media, my podcast, and a new chapter I’m genuinely excited about — I want to bring you into it properly.
Not as a pitch. As a conversation.
Because this work found me as much as I built it.
And I think some of it might be exactly what you’ve been looking for too. ♡
With all my love,
Carmen xo
